Know exactly which version your client approved
Approval Portal gives each project one review link. Your client
comments and approves in the browser, with no account to create — and the
approval is recorded against that exact file, down to its checksum.

The problem it solves
A client says "I approved that". You have four rounds of artwork, three
email threads and a thumbnail that looks the same in all of them. Nobody
is lying — there is just no record of which file the yes attached to.
This tool keeps that record. When someone approves, the approval is tied
to one version's SHA-256 checksum. Upload a new version tomorrow and the
old approval stays exactly where it was: it does not carry
over, and the new version starts unapproved.
How it works
- Upload a version. PNG, JPEG, GIF, WebP or PDF,
up to 25 MB. The file is checked to confirm it is what it claims
to be.
- Create a review link for your client, set to
comment-only or allowed to approve, with an expiry date.
- Send the link yourself. This product sends no
email — more on that below.
- They comment and approve in the browser. No
account, no password, no software to install.
- Export the record as CSV or JSON: who approved,
which version, which file, which checksum, when.
What it costs
$25 per month
Per agency, not per seat. Every feature included.
No setup fee, no minimum term.

Things worth knowing before you try it
Stated here rather than discovered in week two.
- It sends no email. None at all. You copy the review
link and send it from your own address, so your client hears from you
rather than from software they have never heard of. It also means there
are no automatic reminders or notifications.
- Storage is not unlimited. 5 GB
per agency, 25 MB per file.
- It is not a video player. Files are stored and
downloaded, not streamed or transcoded. For frame-accurate video notes,
other tools do that better.
- Forgotten passwords are reset by us, not by an
automatic email, for the same reason as the first point.
The full list of limitations ships with the product.
Who it is for
Small design, video and marketing agencies who send work to clients for
sign-off and want a record of it afterwards. If your clients already
approve inside a tool you both like, you do not need this.
